This is a game-table top that can be placed on any appropriate base such as cement columns. It can be used indoor or outdoor depending on the material used for the base. The inspiration for this design is from the Book of Kells on display at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Animals and birds were sacred to the pastoral society of the Celts. Their symbol of peace, a bird, is depicted opposite the symbol of knowledge and energy, the serpent. The smaller illustration of an elk and the paternal figure of the bull complete the overall design and it is all tied together with the interlaced endless knotwork symbolic of the eternal process of life and growth.
Peter also has an Egyptian and a Crusaders design of game-table tops that can be executed in bluestone, marble or highly-polished black granite.
